The VA Building Utilization Review and Repurposing (BURR) initiative has identified one parcel of vacant land for a long-term ground lease at the Martinsburg Campus of the VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5) in Martinsburg, WV. VA is soliciting qualified developers to submit proposals to finance, design, develop, construct, equip, furnish and maintain a new permanent supportive housing project for homeless Veterans and Veterans at risk of homelessness and their families, on a priority basis.
The potential EUL site contains the following parcel of underutilized land:

The Martinsburg VA Medical Center provides a full range of general medical, surgical, and psychiatric services to Veterans in 23 counties in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The Medical Center has a fully integrated inpatient and outpatient primary care program and provides a full range of outpatient services. The facility has a total of 559 beds which includes 69 acute care medical beds, 312 domiciliary beds, and 178 nursing home care beds. Services are available to more than 129,000 veterans living in 23 counties in Western Maryland, West Virginia, South Central Pennsylvania, and Northwest Virginia.
