The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Environmental Medicine has a comprehensive research program, including elements of both translational and clinical research. The program was initiated almost 3 years ago with the appointment of Dr. Rajiv Dhand, MD, as the Director of the Division. The Division members have unique expertise in the delivery and testing of aerosolized medications. Several novel devices for delivering drugs to the lungs are being tested and unique applications of this technology to common respiratory disorders are being explored. We have ongoing partnership with the Particulate Research Center and the Veterinary School at MU for various projects. [More Info]
