Average Verification Processing Time

To provide you with a sense of the length of time it will take to review a determination, we provide the following information.  Note that these figures are for application reviewing determination during the stated period.

The length of time necessary to provide a determination will vary based on the number of applications in process, the complexity of the application and whether a site visit is needed.  The Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) seeks to complete all initial determinations within sixty days of receiving a complete application.  Many applications fail to provide all the required documents with their initial submission.  CVE cannot initiate an examination until all required documents have been provided and the sixty day examination period does not begin until a complete application is provided.  CVE will acknowledge receipt of a complete application by email to the address provided in the VIP portal.
